Travel Information to Oregon State University,  Corvallis, Oregon

Oregon State University offers an interactive campus map that allows you to locate any building and personalize the map with a number of features such as bus routes, dining areas, and parking lots.  Many of the COAS professors are in Burt Hall, which is on the north side of campus, and the COAS Admin Bldg, referred to as “OAB” (Ocean Admin Building) on the campus map




From Portland Airport to OSU Campus

Driving Directions from Portland Airport:
Take I-205 South from the Portland Airport. After 24 miles, I-205 ends and feeds into I-5; you want to take the exit for I-5 South (Salem).  Continue on I-5 South to Exit 228 for Corvallis.  Turn right (west) and you are on Oregon Highway 34.  This will take you directly into Corvallis.  If you are heading for the main campus, cross the Willamette River Bridge onto Harrison Blvd. Two blocks from the bridge you will need to turn left (south) from Harrison onto 4th Street.  Continue on 4th Street until you reach Jefferson Avenue, then turn right (west).  When you pass 11th Street, the next right will take you into the parking lot and to the campus information booth.  You can get a parking permit or campus directions there during business hours.  


Via Airport Shuttle:

The cost is $43/person/one-way ($84 round trip). The shuttle shops 4-5 times along the way, including at the OSU Bookstore and ends at the Hilton Garden Inn.




From Eugene Airport to OSU Campus

Driving Directions from Eugene Airport:
When you exit the Eugene Airport you will be forced to make a right turn.  Proceed to the stop sign at Airport Road and turn left.  The first stoplight is in about a mile at Oregon Highway 99.  Turn left (north) onto Highway 99. 

In about 13 miles you will go through the town of Junction City.  At the fourth stoplight, Highway 99 splits into two parts: Highway 99W is a left turn and Highway 99E goes straight.  Take Highway 99W to the left. 

In about 30 miles you come into Corvallis.  Highway 99W turns into Third Street when you cross the bridge over the Mary's River; this is a one-way street that takes you through downtown Corvallis.  Stay in the left lane on Third Street until you reach Jefferson Avenue, then turn left (west). When you pass 11th Street, the next right will take you into the parking lot and to the campus information booth. You can get a parking permit or campus directions there during business hours.
